An attorney for Susan Powell's family says private investigators with cadaver dogs will search a former home of her father-in-law.

Attorney Ann Bremner says a date for the search of a Puyallup home Steve Powell used to own has not been set.

Steve Powell was forced to surrender his house during a court settlement. Powell was convicted of taking videos of young neighbor girls undressing and using the bathroom.

Bremner won a $2 million judgment on behalf of the girls and says the girl's family bought the home at auction and giving Susan Powell's family access to it.

The lead police agency in the investigation of missing Utah mom Susan Powell has said for the first time that investigators believe Josh Powell played a role in killing his wife.

Newly released documents from the West Valley City Police Department show Susan Powell had a tumultuous relationship with her husband, Josh Powell.

The lawyer for the family of a missing Utah woman says there's an ongoing federal investigation into Susan Powell's disappearance.

Anne Bremner made the announcement at a Seattle news conference on Tuesday, a day after local officials in Utah said they had closed their investigation into the Susan Powell case.

Newly released police files say Josh Powell had an affair with a Utah woman just months before his wife disappeared.

According to a West Valley City police detective's report, investigators contacted the woman, whose full name is redacted, in August 2010, after her phone number was discovered in connection with the case.
