Although Alice Cooper is probably not a viable candidate, his 1972 song “Elected” was a Top 40 hit. That year’s presidential contenders George McGovern and Richard Nixon didn’t have a single hit song between them, although Nixon did play the piano.
The debates may have been painful to watch, but The Gregory Brothers will give you a new appreciation for the encounters. Sing Along!
