Former Mariner GM Gillick elected to Baseball Hall of Fame

Pat Gillick, former Seattle Mariners general manager, was elected to Baseball's Hall of Fame on Monday. Gillick led the Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies during World Series championship years. He was also GM at Baltimore.
Former Seattle Mariner general manager Pat Gillick has been elected to baseball's Hall of Fame. Gillick won three World Series titles during his 27 years as general manager of Toronto, Baltimore, Seattle and Philadelphia.
Two of the World Series' wins were with the Blue Jays, and one with the Phillies.
Gillick was Mariners’ GM for four seasons, from 2000 to 2003.
He'll be inducted into Cooperstown during ceremonies next July, along with any players chosen next month by the Baseball Writers' Association of America.
