THE BOAT
The Royal Argosy is a wonderful venue to experience great live jazz with KPLU.  Every seat offers a spectacular, ever-changing view.  There are three levels on the boat: the Mariner Room, the Voyager Room (and Club Lounge), and the Sky Lounge.  Each room is enclosed.  Each deck has its own buffet and wait staff, and while the band plays from the first deck, large projection screens and speakers make it possible to hear and view the band from all three levels.  Each deck also has access to the outside.

Mariner Room
This is the first level.  This deck is the largest and also will be the deck where the band plays.  There are a few rows of seats for listeners visiting from other decks to sit.  These will be located in between the buffet and the front eight tables.

Voyager Room and Club Lounge
The second level.  The Voyager Room is the most ornate room on the boat, with turn of the century decor including mahogany trim, marble tops, and spectacular chandeliers.  The Club Lounge is a separate seating area for 40 guests across the hallway from the Voyager Room.

Sky Lounge
The top level.  While all the decks have a great view, the Sky Lounge offers a superior view of the Puget Sound from the highest deck on the boat.

All seats are reserved in advance.  We begin by seating for the first deck on a first-come, first-served basis.  When you arrive for the cruise, Argosy staff will seat you at your table.

KPLU's Sunday Jazz Brunch Cruises depart from Seattle's Pier 56 at 10:30 a.m. and return at 1 p.m.  Boarding begins at 9:30 a.m.  Prior to boarding, listeners will have their pictures taken with the KPLU 2008 Jazz Cruises life ring.  Photos will be available for purchase after the cruise in the Argosy Visitor's Center.

Boat sails rain or shine!  Tickets cannot be returned.

TICKETING
Once your reservation has been made, you will receive an e-mail confirmation.  Then, no later than two weeks before sailing, you will receive, via e-mail, a link to a printable boarding pass indicating what deck level you will be sitting on.  Bring the boarding pass (one copy is good for your entire party) to the KPLU Will-Call area outside the Royal Argosy on the day of the cruise, and exchange it for your tickets.  If it's raining, KPLU Will-Call will be set up inside the Argosy Visitor's Center at Pier 55.  When you board the boat, the Argosy maitre de will take you to your seat(s).

Deadline for purchasing tickets is Wednesday of the week leading up to each cruise date.
