Gallagher grew up fishing steelhead. He's one of hundreds of sport fishermen who spend hours on riverbanks, seeking out the sparkling skin of rainbow trout known as steelhead.</span></p><p><span style="line-height: 1.5;">Like some salmon, they come back from the ocean in winter to spawn upriver.
