Renowned Grammy Award-winning saxophonist, Branford Marsalis, and his quartet will perform Friday, May 23, at Meydenbauer Center as part of the Bellevue Jazz Festival. Marsalis is known for his innovative spirit and broad musical scope. The Bellevue Jazz Festival begins April 9, kicking off a six-week series of free after-work concerts in downtown Bellevue featuring elite Northwest artists. The Branford Marsalis Quartet caps the closing weekend's repertoire, which includes a performance by the Spanish Harlem Orchestra at Meydenbauer Center on Saturday, May 24.
